The government has agreed on amendments to the Digital Act (DigiG) and the Health Data Utilization Act (GDNG). This applies not only to telemedicine and electronic patient records (ePA), but also to optimizations for digital health applications (DiGA): The two-week test phase for DiGAs, after which the application could be returned to the manufacturer without reimbursement if it was not satisfactory, is probably off the table. In future, the health insurance companies will have two days to deliver the activation codes to the insured.
