In a recent press release, the Spitzenverband Digitale Gesundheitsversorgung e.V. (SVDGV) comments on the draft bill of the Digital Act (DigiG) from the Federal Ministry of Health. However, the law also creates new hurdles for digital health applications in particular. For example, a 14-day trial period for DiGAs is to be introduced without remuneration for the service provided, a hardware loan obligation and the mandatory recording of usage success as a variable remuneration component.
