Providers of digital health applications must report significant changes to their DiGA products to the BfArM. These include, for example, new functions or a new design. Of the 49 DiGAs currently available, a total of 142 of these changes have been reported since the DiGA directory was launched. Minor changes and bug fixes are exempt from the reporting obligation – this may result in discrepancies between DiGA version numbers in the directory and in the App Store.
