The draft bill of the Digital Act (DigiG) by Health Minister Karl Lauterbach provides for the prices of digital health applications (DiGAs) to be based on a performance measurement accompanying the application in future. These data are to be publishedby the BfArM in the DiGA directory. Currently, DiGA manufacturers set the prices of their application themselves for the first year – within the framework of group-specific maximum prices. After 12 months, the price negotiated with the National Association of Statutory Health Insurance Funds applies, which the health insurance funds reimburse to the manufacturers when the prescription code is redeemed.
