Former artist, iOS software developer and communicator: In an app agency with the motto apps that users love, that’s a great combination. We are delighted that Steff is a new member of the fluidmobile team. As a senior iOS software developer, he translates customer needs into concrete development with great UX. His solution-oriented approach and life experience are good advisors in the team and ensure a certain composure – even when faced with major challenges such as the coronavirus lockdown. Teamwork also works very well remotely.

1. WHEN DID YOU JOIN FLUIDMOBILE AND WHAT EXACTLY DO YOU DO HERE?
As a senior iOS software developer, my job is to implement touch-sensitive communication artifacts as part of a team. I have been with fluid since October 2020.
2. WHY DO YOU ENJOY YOUR WORK?
Communication within the team, the team and further development. Bringing information to life in an increasingly natural way.
3. IF YOU WERE AN APP, WHAT WOULD YOUR BUG BE?
そうだね。。00。 I probably wouldn’t understand why I should only communicate in one language. Certain intentions and feelings can be expressed better or worse depending on the language. So I would change the language depending on the intention. C’est chouette ça, n’est-ce pas?
4. MASTER OF ORDER OR TAMER OF CHAOS?
Both must be in harmony with each other – and be able to fight with each other.
5. IF YOU WERE A CARICATURE, WHICH FEATURE WOULD STAND OUT THE MOST?
I don’t know, different people would certainly make different things stand out. A caricature is a kind of singular perspective or view of a person. I think that I have many different facets that could be caricatured.
6. HOW DO YOU ALWAYS MAKE YOURSELF SMILE?
Different people seem to have found different ways of doing this. Haha, still a mystery to me.
7. IF YOU COULD DO ANYTHING WITHOUT ANY NEGATIVE CONSEQUENCES FOR YOURSELF OR OTHER PEOPLE, WHAT WOULD IT BE?
Is it worth thinking about doing something that has no negative consequences? Or should we spend more time thinking about what we can do that will have a positive impact on us and our environment?
8. TELL US ABOUT YOUR BIGGEST CHILDHOOD SIN OR YOUR FAVORITE CHILDHOOD MEMORY.
Well, in a country where an entire industry seems to live on infantile dreams without wanting to take responsibility for current developments, childhood memories are perhaps somewhat overrated. In my life, there are much more intensely luminous memories from other stages of development.
9. WHAT EVENT IN THE PAST WOULD YOU HAVE LIKED TO HAVE BEEN THERE FOR?
Hmmm, actually I think it’s more important to think about what I can contribute to events that people around me will remember fondly later.
10. WHAT INSPIRES YOU?
The aspects of life that enrich – being in contact with people and cultures, music, dancing, etc. – La Pura Vida!
